Whilst on holiday last week, I bought Auto Express for some light reading material(petrol-porn?) In the back they mention the next issue on sale Wed 5th Sept will have a used VW group shoot-out! The cars to be tested are the Octavia Mk1, Golf Mk4, Seat Leon, and the Audi A3, I for one will be buying it to see if the Octy wins:thumbup:

Mostly, only 2 pages too, and they reckon the Leon offered best value for money of the four models. Just one sentence in the Leon write-up said this, which is why I missed it, and with NO road tests...very poor show IMO.

Autoexpress do this once a month - last time it was the Passat the last 4 models very brief but gives price range issues best buy of the range etc.

Its ok but not great - I bought that edition just for those 2 pages...
