Actually, he did mention the torque and said that it was enough to pull a car load of adults comfortably.:P

Dunno about the 'swift and light' gearbox - mine was notchy and quite firm, but he is right about the larger than expected turning circle. The only issue I had with mine was when a rear spring collapsed in a multistory car park with a very impressive KABOING-G-G-G-G It was a mildly agricultural little beast, but ran well enough for the money.

It's a shame BBC complained and asked for it to be removed. It's not like money is being made from it, or BBC has a DVD alternative available. I have seen this though and it's a great review of the car.
