whf?

original post edited to make the question clearer, I was trying to be discreet. :)

I don't think Delta Sierra Golf can handle much in the way of torque increases after a Romeo Echo Mike Alpha Papa. There are very specific limits set on that gearbox.

I can't remember the specific figures but they are in this forum somewhere, it might be 350NM.

If a remap was on the cards it would be a BHP/tiny torque gain to preserve the 'box.

thats what I suspected, but there are plenty of tuners now offering dsg remaps. Some are showing torque limited maps for the DSG so I was wondering if anyone had taken the plunge and what the effect was on throttle response and shifting.

Has anyone racked up some decent mileage on their dsg equiped octy yet?

Plenty have been fettled in the US Tony, so might be worth having a read of their thoughts.

I've read quite a few and didn't really strike me as they were having issues. Have you asked Jim as I'm pretty sure he's done a TFSi. Mention Robin and he'll know.

From memory the DSG box is rated to 300lbft maximum.

Sorry, totally missed the point of that.

judging by the time it was posted, prolly well on the way ! lol :) :)
