Where can I buy servicing tools - PD cambelt...

As the title really, I need the locking tools to do the cambelt on my PD engined Passat.

Any idea where I can get them?

yeah looks ok to me... you should be able to get away with using just 2 of those tools to do it

i could be wrong as i've never done a Passat cambelt , but ,strictly speaking that tool set is incomplete , there should be a cranked bar with 2 pins in to adjust the tensioner , its also used to compress the tensioner damper on certain engines

Yes, the bar is available separately... (I already have it )

or you could just use a pair of circlip pliers

Hi all, I’m trying to find someone to remove component protection from a gateway module in/around Liverpool / North west. May need to coding doing to the module to match the old module etc. Does anybody have any recommendations for anyone in the area who may be able to help? Appreciate the info, Lee :)

Hi Everyone, I have been investigating how I can replace the decorative trim pieces on the console of the O4 (see attached picture (version I would like). The easy part has been figuring out the general part numbers, however I get stuck on the specifics. I know the O4 has two technical variants; one with stock leds and one with RGB leds, and that there is a multitude of different codes for all the different colours/textures. Hoping to purchase a 2.0l TSi Sportline/Laurin & Klement variant at some point soon. My budget may result in me seeking out a vehicle with 95K onwards on the clock. I’ll be only considering something with a full comprehensive service history. My understanding is that I shouldn’t worry about cam chain tensioners as they go on and on. But do they? So is there anything I should really looking out for? Thanks

Last September my Kamiq 1.5 DSG 2020reg (regularly serviced) displayed 'Gearbox in Emergency Mode'. Very near home so able to limp home. Dealer took it in and fixed it under extended warranty. All okay until a month ago when it happened again, this time far from home. Switched off the car, restarted and all back to normal and drove perfectly. Yesterday it happened again and only D2 available. Started car today, no problem, all working, no warning sign. I'll be contacting the dealer again

Hi folks, I am looking at buying a Yeti which currently has a spare wheel fitted and therefore a raised boot floor - if I wanted the option of the lowering boot floor and taking out the spare wheel, for car camping, I understand that I need to buy a puncture repair kit and the polystyrene tray that it's housed in, plus I'd also need to source the boot floor that would sit on top of the (now empty) wheel well. The existing boot floor that sits on top of the spare wheel is not one of the variable
