Is that because the dealers are out of stock?

Sounds like a quick way to earn some money to me

where have you seen that price?

And just cos they're advertised at that, doesn't mean they sell for it.

.....................including 001

The salesman was telling me when I bought my vrs that the SE's are all being snapped up for stupid prices just so people can get their hands on one of the last models and demo's, due to the fact there is no new fabia vrs till next year at least.

Expect to see a lot of them on the forecourts when the new vrs comes out.

i thought 0001 was already sold as i was told by the garage up north

saying that, i was also told by said "same garage" that skoda have no plans bringing out a fabia mk II vRS, and that its best to snap one up now, as its the last of its pedigree kind... hmmm, shall i wait or should i go?

I would get one mate, if a new vrs comes out then chop it in for that mate

Edition numbers 001 and 007 are both for sale at 2 differrent dealers according to the used cars section of the Skoda UK website.

They were the subject of a Skoda 'internal auction' I believe. (Ants or John W should be able to confirm this!)

Of course there is always a difference between the advertised price and the selling price :)

Those were for "Proper" limited editions mate, Mk1 Octy vRS's :D :D

As has been said, just because they are being advertised at such high prices doesn't mean they will necessarily sell for that.

Once my house move goes through (fingers crossed!), I shall sell mine if I can get what I feel is a decent price. It may be worth phoning the supplying dealer and offering it to them as well. I can't see it going for £14k though:rofl:

There is a dealer with an un registered Fabia vRS still in stock Wonder what that'll go for!!!

Is there!?!?!?

Not the one that was 'reserved' at Sparshatts is it?

No.

IIRC it's Yellow.

Ah ... sorry, I 'imagined' that you typed 'se' as well! I presume you're not talking about that yellow 'wrc' one on here recently since it must have been registered to get the plate.

It's definitely good news for us owners of mint mark ones anyway so I'm definitely not complaining!
