My new car.......cue the hairdresser jokes

Featured Replies

Passat is worth about £4500 p/x, £5500 - £6000 private.

I think I want a later (2002 on) NB model, for about £7k. But failing that something like a 10th Anniversary on a 99T for under £5k could be achieved I think.

Doesn't seem to be much available in the area at the moment, will keep an eye out! :)

You would probably get the RS import edition like mine for those prices from a private seller.

been out all afternoon in it. Top down too.

had a top time:thumbup:

Mind telling me what you paid for yours Rob? By all means PM me... :)

nice cars i would have one, think there is a supercharger and/or turbo conversion for them, that would make it a very nice car:thumbup:

I am sure someone on the owners club has one that is super/turbo charged and puts out around 240BHP. Says it eats Scoobies for breakfast.

AFAIK superchargers are pretty much a DIY job, turbo charging a bit more difficult i believe.

Watch out for insurance on things like the 10th Anniv.Normally 1.6 is group 11 and 1.8 grp 12.Think the Anniversary is something like 15:eek:

I've got a newer one but the ones like Rob has just do not lose money.

Seems to be in the same class as the mini on the depreciation front:thumbup:
