When I am driving along the indicator relay keeps ticking faster than normal, but the dash indicator lights, and the actual indicators on the outside do no light up. Its all a bit random. If I move the indicator switch up or down it all works normally but it just plays up like this when the lever is in the neutral position. Any ideas?!

yes its 100% ur indicator stalk , i had exact same problem and thought i had relay problem , until local skoda dealer put me right , i bought new stalk for E35 (£22) and got mechanic friend to fit . job done !!!
