Project; WheelieBin into Go-Kart

Hi all,

Over the past year or so, my friends and i have been working on a project called "Binsleigh".

We took 1 standard household wheeliebin + 1 metal frame bunk bed = 1 Gravity go-kart.

This weekend has been very productive indeed, now with a new steering colume and mechanism (Rose joints and tie bars) the handling with be razor sharp.

The binsleigh is fitted with a bike speedo so we can keep a record of the the top speed. I currantly hold the land speed record of 29.8mph, Which nearly killed me as our custom monbted 'V' brakes failed on 1 of the rear wheels

The next mod for the binsleigh is a CO2 Fire extinguisher to be mounted on the rear.

The steering is extreamly sensitve now we're running rose joints.

it power slides/drifts..... then spins out of control. hell alot of fun tho.
