firstly thank you to you all who have given me advice in recent threads. CHEERS GUYS !!!!!!!!

Now some questions ........................

1) my 1993 135i has the usual problem of a fuel gauge which is like a yo yo. Any suggestions for fixing?, I presume a stabaliser is required in the tank, am i right?

2) what horesepower is the 135i ?????

3) (dont laugh) when you shut either front doors there is a noise from the front of the engine, anyone else had this lol ????

Please expand on the engine noise. Is it whilst running? Definitely the engine and not the bonnet prop? Fuel gauge is same on mine and doesn't cause any problems so i'm leaving it.

thats whats funny, the engine is off, your shutting door to walk away and somethying rattles has it shuts ?????

1) Yes, it needs a stabiliser, but AIUI these are model specific.

2) No idea.

3) Try rocking the top of the radiator to and fro. It may be the mounts.

power is about 57 bhp

check your bonnet support is catching into the clip ok, could be that rattling. the fuel guage, well, they're all like that.

:iagree: - and that's whant I meant about fuel guage stabilisers being model specific; I don't think you can readily fit one if the car wasn't designed to have one.
