HI FOLKS

fitted a aftermarket radio yesterday been out in it today and noticed the radio live /perm live wrong way round so swapped the yellow/red round so it remembers radio stations etc which it does fine

when out for a long drive in car and after 1 hour my cel light came on,

when i got home i unplugged the aftermarket stereo and reconnected the original plugged in vagcom but it didnt connect saying interface not found,so i plugged in a cheap reader and it came back code 0501(believed to be vechicle speed sensor.i let it clear the code but now my speedo in not working but all the rest of the instruments are and the cel lights stayed out

any clue on this one would be helpful

vagcom knows the interface is connected to my pc

did you swap the wires back round when you reconnected the original stereo?
