There's a couple of members on here it might suit like WAYNER007 or WESTYVRS

Should suit someone well that

Does that price include the assignment fee (£80) as well I wonder? Was it a private sale, or one of the plate dealers?

one of the plate dealers, there was a full page of plates for sale.

Well in that case, if it's a dealer - there's better deals to be had. Just go direct to the DVLA site, www.dvla-som.co.uk and it's £399 inclusive there! And a fair choice of other Ws too :)

Not bad as it came with the car :D

No, it looks like your plate cost £499 :)

What it's worth should you wish to sell it is another matter altogether :(

Mine cost me £399. I note though that for the same inital letter and final 3 letter combination, only 2 of the 65 options have beeen sold. So for me to be no more expensive than a new one, I'd expect to get no more than £319

But then, the car's lost about £8k since I bought it :(

At least I got it free though :D
