Will these wheels fit??

Featured Replies

The wheels will fit but you need to check the tyre size, may not be any good for you.

Yes, but you'll need to change tyres. Likely to be currently running a 225/45/17. You need 205/40/17 or 215/40/17.

I've just seen a black Vrs on another forum with tt wheels, looks stunning see if I can get pic later as stuck at work at the minute.

CHEERS for that people. Wouldnt mind seeing a pic with those wheels on. Im going to check for tyre prices for those as my front are due and seem so expensive for 16 inch wheels.

Ok mate, not the wheels you wanted but another Fabia on tt wheels

Oh yeah didnt notice that but does look good!

Well it just so happens I've just picked up a set of these (refurbished) off a seller on ebay. Mine already have the 205/40 tyres on them, just sorting out some stickers for the centres then I need to start planning how/when I'm going to lower the car.

If they went to the trouble of photochopping the rear doors (or at least part of them!), you'd think they'd do something about the bulkbag in the background? :D

Didn't Ross's old vRS have those wheels and the Milltek grille?

And have I just let the cat out of the bag, and insulted someone's photoshopping - 'cos let's face it, I couldn't do any better!?!

:sofahide:

are the centre caps easy to cover on the audi wheels cause i have been looking at some and wasnt sure how to cover the audi badge i know you can buy stickers but is the audi centre cap smooth or is the audi logo raised or what?

Yeah it's Ross'/Xav's car - you can see the massive Brembo's peaking through the wheels!

And no, I didn't photochop it ;)

Chris

I just got this pic from another forum where I submitted photos too of my own car, they sent back this photochop saying do this to your Vrs.

I would presume you can just replace the centre caps as I have seen a seat leon with golf gti alloys on the car and the seat centre caps in the middle, but I could be wrong.

TT Comps look so good on the fabia! Mmmm temptations!

I didnt photoshop it but it is indeed my old car taken from my bedroom window at our old house, I thought the bulkbag added depth and character :P

And it has Skoda centre caps, pop straight in.

I'm using Audi S3 alloys on mine at the moment and have modified the centre cap with (I hate to say it) sticky carbon look film. The Audi rings on the cap can me removed, although they leave an indent of the pattern. this didn't seem to matter though as the carbon look film was quite thick and didn't show it up.

Also, with the caps removed, the Skoda centre caps fit in the middle of the wheel anyway (if you're looking for the 'rally-slag' look)

I'll post some pictures later...

That is stunning.

David

well what about the wheels on this TT then can you get skoda centre caps big enough to fit them?

I reckon they'll look good mate, the S3 ones and Octy VRS ones look very smart imo, so much so I had both on mine!

Here's my modified Avus Centre Cap

Here's one with the wheel in shot

And here's one without the Avus cap, but with the original Skoda badge fitted

I think that looks okay, I've bought some 88mm skoda badges off ebay to go in the centre of my wheels (which are sat in a dhl depot grrrrr!).

If they look too big I'll be looking to get that style centre cap and go for something simliar.

Done A Good Job There!

Cheers! SWMBO made me do it, she said I couldn't have an Audi badge on a Skoda.

She's right too, I wouldn't want to lower the tone of the car...;)
