Whos the youngest vRS driver then?

Featured Replies

Sorry, can't claim the youngest driver at 35 but its great fun to drive (hot or not!) and also very economical on the motorway.

Have a look at the TG race for their verdict YouTube - Top Gear - Skoda Fabia VRS vs Mini Cooper

Aye but the cooper is just a lukewarm hatch as well.

However, a remap puts in the hot hatch category IMO ;)

Im 19, and although its only a warm hatch its still too bloody quick for me. I struggle to keep her on the road.

Advanced driving lessons for you then.

Myself and Harry were both 18, when we bought our Fabia's.

I'm 212, I guess that makes me the oldest! ;)

It must be all that washing and polishing that's put the years on you Gez, ha ha!!

I'm 19 myself..... Twice...... then add one, but i've got the heart of a teenager.... hope he doesn't want it back, ha ha!

im a contender for the first one lol

Not entirely, ok, I know a Fabia VRs driver who is 17, end of thread?

I'm sorry to do this to you all... but as a driving instructor who teaches in a Fabia VRS, I guess some of my students are the youngest!

It's not uncommon for a first driving lesson as a 17th birthday present. So, students on 17th birthday are a regular feature.

I have taught a 14 year old off the public highway, and she was ASTONISHINGLY good! :)

Just to make all you young 'uns weap.... my insurance cost is LESS than £500 per annum, for ANY licenced driver (including provisional licence holders, when they comply with the licence requirements).... with or without me in the car! Some 17 year olds who've passed borrow the car for the weekend!

Now then.... where'd I go for a Re-Map??? :P

Does this count?

I'm 22 and drive a Focus ST-2.

Sold my Fab vRS 3 months ago.

Way ahead of you Snoopie; have had a few hours with ScoopyChris and have started lessons with my local IAM group a few weeks ago.

I'm more ahead of you. Ask anyone...

Of course you are. But in my opinion, if you can't even keep a Fabia on the road, you do have issues, it's the easiest bloody car to drive! :D

Im 20 and i've had mine since march

if you can't even keep a Fabia on the road, you do have issues

Pretty much sums me up really.

bought mine when i was 19, now 20!

insurance should come down to something almost reasonable when i renew in feb!

needed a diesel for work (1250 miles a week for one job) and didnt really like any of the other diesels out there, well, in this price range :P

as soon as insurance comes down, i fear she may have to go!

you just cant beat the sound of a petrol and the higher revs!

It must be all that washing and polishing that's put the years on you Gez, ha ha!!

That reminds me...the weather is good this weekend, better get the zymol out!
