When I get mine - This weekend hopefully, I'll be the youngest - 18 for another 3 months.

I was 19 in July got my VRS in August....

Before that I had a Corsa 1.2...

Damn I've been beaten! lol ...Nice to see that there is younger drivers out there for the vRS, most articles I've read basically state its a hot hatch for OAPs! (no offence intended...don't shoot the messenger!)

Mind you, as above..I've had a hisotry of fairly quick cars yeah, If you can afford to you may aswell!

My old 140-150bhp G40 was a lot cheaper to buy/insure than the slower Polo GTi!

Yeah thats what I read but it didn't put me off.

Could of gone for the more generic Corsa 1.8/Saxo VTR/Zetec S but decided to be a bit different.

I also needed something which met my parents approval... which the VRS did because it isnt "Boy racerish" or flashy", but also needed something practical with good mpg for my twice a week 80 mile trips.

It's a lukewarm hatch.

Just like the Ibiza FR, Corsa SRi, Astra SRi, Saxo VTR, Fiesta Zetec S.

Although admittedly it is one of the quickest of this "warm hatch" group.

Im 19, and although its only a warm hatch its still too bloody quick for me. I struggle to keep her on the road.
