New Nurofen Skoda Advert?

Featured Replies

I noticed that during a new Nurofen advert where the woman is wearing a headset and two cars are racing around a track one of the cars looks like a modified Octavia.

I might be wrong but just wondered if anyone else had spotted it and if it's a car known to Briskoda members.

Just to calrify:

In the advert the woman is wearing some sort of headset and is doing something that is obviously beneficial to the racing cars. She then gets a headache which prevents her from doing her job. Takes Nurofen. All is better. She puts the headset back on and presses a button which makes the Octavia lookalike win the race. Hurrah!!

Yeah I saw that advert during Corrie last night and thought the same thing, very Octavia-ish.

looks like a mk1 octy to me and boy doesn't she go:D.....the car i mean:P

I thought both cars looked like BMW's...

With the grille's changed and body kits added there's a fair amount of similarity between a three series and a Mk1 octy.

I thought it was an octavia at the start of the ad , but leant more towards a BMW by the end

I'd say BMW for sure seen it a few times now.

not sure if I should be admitting to this, but yes I also thought it was a MK1 Octy.

mm, I noticed that, but I thought it was very Octy-ish from the front but the back looked very Skyline-ish, but what do I know????:D

I must admit

I said Octavia to start , then again I leaned towards BMW towards the end of the advert

Me too, i would've sworn it was a silver Octy but then convinced myself that it must've been a Beemer!

I know the one above's a 6-series, they were pics I photoshopped (badly) yonks ago for another thread!

If it's anything like the Ford advert with the cars lifted away on balloons (new Mondeo?), then they'll have disguised the cars so as not to appear to endorse any particular make. What amuses me about the Ford ad, is that the main guy gets rid of his car by pushing it out of the garage with a load of balloons attached, and what's his car? A very thinly-disguised Ford Sierra!

Still not seen the ad.

The poor woman, no wonder she got a headache, sandwiched between two halves of that piece of s***e soap opera thingy. :thumbdwn:

Just the thought of it causes me headache. nausea and panic attack. Moving the ad to a different slot should help her. ;)

I've seen the advert but not paid attention to the advert , will have a proper look when I see the advert again.
