Anyone ever had any trouble with one on their Superb?

I've a few worrying things with mine, if left parked up for a day or so, the pedal is rock hard upon 1st press of the pedal, and that vibration I get through the acc pedal can be stopped by holding the brake pedal to take up the slack, I'm wondering if mines come loose from the bulkhead or has an internal failure thats causing it.

I've never had any experience of this on my Superb, but in my experience when servo's go they just stop working... perhaps something's come loose somewhere that's causing vibration/play?

Easy way of checking if the servo's working properly is to pump the pedal with the engine off (expelling any pressure in the servo), then keep your foot on the pedal and start the engine. If the pedal goes down under your pressure when the engine fires up, everything's ok.

Thx bud, that's what I thought, there's defo something odd with it though, I get this aftershock through the acc pedal on rutted roads, the dealers says nothing wrong with the suspension/exhaust/mounts, leading me to suspect something in that area isn't tightened up, gonna have a look at the airbox later in case it wasn't secured last time a new filter was put in.

Hmm. You get the "aftershocks" when you're braking or just generally? Sounds like there's something going on somewhere. Have you had a full four wheel alignment done recently? Sometimes it can be as simple as that, but if it isn't a full adjustment (with castor/camber etc) usually picks up anything loose/missing/broken/not connected etc.
