I agree with the spoiler, engine cover and a cupra R front splitter, think they would look the nuts. How about a carbon battery cover to compliment the engine cover?

I've carboned quite a bit of my car and with it being black it looks really good (well I think so anyway!!)

Slightly more sensibly (and sorry if they've been suggested already):

Inside door handles

Wing mirrors (the outer bit, not the looky-behind-you bit )

Yeah I've got wing mirrors, door handles and inside shells, eyebrows, pillars...... I'm sure there is something else on mine carboned but I can't think off hand

Door lock buttons and handbrake button. Like the small chrome pack, but in carbon. Maybe the top of the gear lever too.

re-awaken this thread lol how are things going, very interested in pd160 intake!!

The Splitter is half way through been done as the guy had more on than i thought!

The intake is next on the list, just trying to decide on a shape etc.

How can you do that to an SE. Dont you wanna swap me for my older less significant normal vrs and mod that and leave the SE alone

Id do the bonnet and front wings as they are non load bearing structures of the car. And also in a position where the fabia could do with loosing a few kg's......the front.

The doors i would leave alone as they not only protect you in a side impact crash but also add to the ridigidity to the cars shell.

the next thing to look at would be polycarbonate rear and side windows as these would reduce your unladen weight abit. Also Cut the rear floor/spare wheel well out and replace with a bolted in flat ally plate. Helps ground clearance too .

its just a car man,must admit i think the doors may not be a good idea,i am allready looking into a custom titanium front crash bar,will be re locating the battery to the boot and deleting the aircon bits to save some wieght at the front end,might even look into a dry sump system!!!!!!!!

And again i will take the crazy comments as a compliment,wouldn't want to swap mine for yours cos i bet yours wouldn't make 155/270 as standard on the rollers:P

Just realised you said roof. That would be very difficult as the roof gives ridgidity and how would you go about changing it? Not as though you can cut and put it back in. Personally I think too much carbon looks to tacky. The few subtle hints is nicer. ie/ splitter, rear spolier
