Brunters 5 Day Weather Forecast

Featured Replies

Good news for anyone making the trip to the National Meet :)

http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/5day.shtml?id=2477

According to this page, the Bruntingthorpe area (Lutterworth) will have sunshine on Saturday :D

Fingers, toes and unmentionables all crossed in the hope this doesn't change.

See you all there

Me want rain :(

But for the spectators, I want it to be dry.

Go back to bed Jon, you're deluded.... again :D

How's the mobile chicane shaping up? ;)

Air Pollution Index of 3, and moderate visibility....

Until Jon starts his car up, that is :D

Yep - I saw the long run forecast (only temp wise) yesterday, and it looked like increasing amounts of "orange" and "yellow" areas around the whole UK toward Saturday. Totally ideal, because it means perfect weather for Friday when being tweaked and massive cleaning afteer too. :D

maybe we could do a rain dance just for Jon and have a cloud follow him round for the day !? :D

I'm sure the 4x4 drivers will join in the dance......

From what I believe, I think he'll be able to generate his own clouds as he goes around the track. Damn unfair though, laying a smokescreen for us diesel owners who can't "reciprocate" in kind! :D

They are much better in the wet, I love wet tracks :D :D :D

Oh and there will be a black cloud following me around all day anyway :D

dry is safer with newbies.... so am gonna hope for dry.... plus gives me a chance to warm the slicks......;)

The R four letter word is banned from all Briskoda transmissions until at least 10pm Saturday :)

Good, I can continue on the deep clean programme - polished up the rear brake disc dust shields last night - marvellously shiny now!!

P.S. for those regular track goers, any advice on tyre pressures compared to normal on the road set up (currentlyrun 32 psi all round)?

Lee

Read the preparing your car for a trackday thread / FAQ , it'll give you some pointers.

Preparing for a track day in my book is, Empty most of the loosestuff out of the boot, check tyres & then GO.
