anyone else got a wii?

what games have you got etc?? I have one but dont know what games to get, just have wii sports, driver and brain academy at the moment.

wii sports, wii play and Cooking Mama (quite possibly the most pointless game ever, but I didn't get it for me).

Quite liking the look of Tiger Woods for it...

Super Paper Mario is quite good. Nothing like the other Paper Marios really but still fun.

Resident Evil 4 is excellent and Excite Truck rocks as well.

Wii Play is worth it for the extra controller .

Mortal Kombat is a decent version if you like that sort of thing.

Super Paper Mario is only average , Super Mario Galaxy looks like it'll be a lot better - I've got that on order along with Metroid Prime and Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles.

Oh , and mario party is a laugh with friends but you need more wiimotes - they are half price at amazon at the mo

yeah i have been looking at tiger woods, i dont like or play golf but it still looks good fun.

Im not that impressed with driver, its a bit dull and GTA San Andreas on the PC blows it out of the water.

i cant find half price wiimotes on amazon..

Second vote for Excite Truck and Resident Evil.

I've had a Wii for a few months now and have only really played Wii Sports.

Wii Play is worth getting for the etxra controller and can be fun in the beginning when you are getting used to playing with the remotes. I also have Sonic, but haven't really played it so can't comment if its any good.

I'm hoping to get Super Paper Mario at some point too...

Oooh, yes. Excite Truck is pretty good. Also RE4 as has been mentioned.

The Godfather is wicked. Also got FIFA 08 and thats pretty hot too!

You have to do the moves for grabbing, throwing and punching etc...

they sell new chipped ones at bowlers now i think!!!!

with five games for 200 or somewhere around that price

although you could probably push for more games, i got one thousand with the r4 for the ds(the games are somewhat smaller though)

I have Zelda (brilliant!!!) The Godfather (briliant) Mario Strikers (Not reall into footy games but I like this) Wario Ware (Bonkers lol)I can't wait for Mario Galaxies!!! But I need to finish Godfather (clocked up 25hours) and Zelda (13 hours)

Just be aware that chipped consoles are likely to be no good for online play as has been the problem with X-Boxes in the past.

I'm sure this will change back and forth with time as modchips and nintendo develop things.

I have got Red steel and thats good i also have Need for speed-carbon.which i find quite difficult to control.My daughter and son play on it mostly. Tried the boxing thats excellent.

It'll be very hard to get hold of a Chipped Wii for a while as they have revised the version of chipset in them.

That coupled with the fact that stocks are low for Christmas will for sure keep the used/chippable console prices bouyant.

Nother vote for RE4, just don't play it int dark! I have Zelda but haven't really got that far yet. Sports is a must Play isn't so good TBH.

Waiting for the Star Wars games to launch... Lego out next month and the Official Lucasarts jobbie next year which should be tasty.

Oh and Ghost Squad is also out in November which looks great fun (if you like shooting anything that moves)

Looking at buying one of these for my son at Xmas but he already has an Xbox 360 and PS2, PSP. Is it worth it?

We’ve had a wii accident last week......darling daughter no.3 was playing tennis and smashed a glass light shade.

Her injuries were thankfully superficial; however the plasma TV suffered a couple of scratches.

They don’t show up when the TV is on, but I would like to fill them to prevent any dirt getting in.

Any ideas ?

They are great fun for all the family. Not a hardcore games machine like the 360 et al but just good fun.

If you are thinking of a purchase for christmas I wouldn't leave it too long as stocks are already low.

Managed to bag one from HMV at Trafford Centre today! Woo Hoo! They had 22 in, might be worth ringing them if anyone wants one. They won't reserve them though.

Got RE4, Smooth Moves and Big Brain Academy. Waiting on my better half coming home before getting going on it, otherwise I'll not get anything done this afternoon.
