Vag-Com questions

Featured Replies

Right over the last few days i've decided I hate the ASR system on my Fabia. It doesn't control wheelspin it just cuts the power, which is not good when you want to pull out of a junction quickly in front of a bus  . So my question is can Vag-Com change the default settings so that ASR is switched of as default? If so will their be any kind people this saturday willing to do it for me?

My next question is can the ABS setting's be changed in Vag-Com so that it kicks in later? A few times now I've had the ABS system go mental on me and greatly reducing my stopping distance.

Yes, no, yes and before you ask, no

:D

No there won't be any helpful people there on Saturday

Thats how I understood it.

Ok next question. Can the shareware version of the software do this?

I don't think so......you probably have to ge the fully registered one to play with any of the "interesting" functions. ;)

Hmm I like the sound of that.

An chance of a PM SkodiRS with a list of some of the "interesting " functions.

Cheers

Nick,

yes it can be disabled

I'm sure there will be someone there who is more helpful than me

Yes the ABS can be adjusted

No, I won't do it for you.

I won't play with other people's traction control, ABS kick in points or brake bias settings. If you/I get it wrong and they crash, how would you feel? Would you be responsible?

Sorry :(

Thats fair enough Jon, never thought about it from that point of view.

I can see it now, heading towards your local ;) roundabout. Brake hard, **** end steps out...

and then it's "that ****** TaviaRS! He changed it! I'm going to sue the crap out of him"

:D
