Codes for remote window closure/opening on a Fabia vRS Please :)

Featured Replies

Is it possible to use the keyfob to open close the windows on the Fabia? If so, does anyone have the codes for VAG COM please :)

I'm sure you need a special moduel to enable it?

Nope, not that easy mate. :(

You'd need an aftermarket product like an Alientech controller.

Ok guys, thanks for the quick responses :)

I Have the autowindow module on my fabia. Fitting was abit of a mission but i put that down to me being the first to ever fit one to the fabia.

Should be easyer now as scott lists the fabia on his website now.

I seem to remember a thread about this... Clicky...

Awesome do this unit... Clicky...

VagProducts - Products also sell the same unit as Awesome.

I have one and issues are well documented on here, if 'kvw 100' is searched. It would seem the version of the convenience model fitted makes a difference.

OT It only takes 3 secs holding the key across on the drivers door. Just need to get into the habbit of doing so.

Hi Dave,

Is putting the windows down a bit like folding the seats flat?

Lower centre of gravity to give massive bhp gains, and improved performance etc etc :rofl:

Haha, maybe ;)

No, a friend told me it was possible with VAG COM. Clearly from the postss here it is not as simple as that, so I really can't be arsed pursuing it. Just thought it was as easy as changing a code.

Thanks for all the informative replies though :)

you can put them down with the key, but not up..............

you need to be a good shot and put plenty of force into it!:D

Eh?

With key in the doorlock it works both down and up on my Fab, and other Fabs too (tested at the Awesome RR day on Sat in fact, as someone didn't know about it!)

What would Ants know, he only sells them! :P

Certainly should work both directions fella.

Works both ways on my Octy.

An octy isnt a Fabia tho is it :) Works on the key on the Octy 2 also.

Really?

I was simply pointing out that it's likely for a feature like this to be the same between two vehicles of similar age/make.

My humour is wasted in you lot.

I was suggesting that if you throw the key hard enough at the window then it would come down but not go back up!

Oh well..........

Well I got your joke even if no one else did... :P

Damn these text based forums! :P

We obviously all take what's typed too literally :D
