Very happy Octavia Driver new to site

I bought my 2.0l TDI DSG L&K Estate with sports suspension a year ago and I love it.

I have done about 30k and it is a great car and I have really enjoyed driving it and readily recommend it to my friends.

I have bought 10 new cars in the last 12 years and I can say that this was not the most expensive but is certainly the most comfortable and easy to drive car.

I just love the DSG along with the 140bhp engine and all the thoughtful goodies, auto windscreen wipers, auto lights, cruise etc The only thing that is missing is a heated front window

And I don't work for Skoda or in the automotive industry :-)

My recent (non-Skoda) cars have given dashboard warnings when the battery in the key fob runs down. This gives the driver the opportunity to change the battery and to keep the key functional. The battery in my Superb's key fob recently ran down, and it went from fully operational (working the button "plip" as well as the keyless entry) to completely flat during the course of a day at work. No warnings were displayed. I was unable to plip the car open, and had to walk to a shop, purchase a ne

I have been looking around for a basic cheap run around - automatic - but witout much success. There is a 2002 Fabia 1.4 16V Classic 5dr forr sale near me. £2700 (which is overpriced I feel) with 66500 miles on the clock and it says 1 previious keeper. Am I mad to be considering a 24 year old car? I just missed out on a 2013 fabia though I was worried about the DSG gearbox. I used to have sometime ago a 2003 Skoda fabia and loved it. I used a copy of this MSTD_EU_SK_P6230 MU0490 if anyone else needs, the site I think I had it from was mibsolution.one is currently down though. I was wary of the copy I had and passage of time, but it worked fine installed, I just have to clear the fault code ( have odbeleven but pro ran out and doesn't cover the adaption by looks of it) Excuse the state of my interior I don't use the car that much and could use a vaccuum.
