Hello All.

Featured Replies

Hi All,

I bought an Octavia VRS Diesel back in May and I'm bored in work today so i went looking for a Skoda forum and found this one.

My baby is Metallic black(bitch to keep clean in Ireland) and has everything else stock. I am considering a re-map but I have found that even with the 170bhp she spins very easily in the wet. Obviously the ESP system kicks in but it's just a awful system and shudders the car. If I remap I can get in the region of 200BHP(not done too much searching) but would that mean the ESP is constantly working under hard driving??

Regards

Ste.

Just read your story on the Diesel. I've had mine since May this year and not one issue so far. Nearly 8k miles on it too.

I'm from Finglas, work in Blanch and live out in Blessington. I see you have a Black Vrs too so I guess you know all about how dirty this place is. Mine was clean once :)

welcome to the site!!!

There are a couple of Blue V's in the area. There is another one in my job as well.

I was away there for a few weeks, a mate did comment on the number of them he has seen about lately. Seems to be a lot more common than the Mk1 version was.

QuattroSte,

Spotted you at the Blanch roundabout yesterday evening ( you wouldn't have seen me.. I wan incognito .. driving the SWMBO's Touran)

Your weren't joking when you said your motor was fillty :)

Cathalb. Now I feel guilty. She will be cleaned this weekend. Of course she will be filthy by the time you see me again ;)
