you will be suprised. some of our clan are running it no probs on single core athlons with 9800series cards. Although if you have a 486 you may struggle.

Our COD2 website ( -=MAX=- Clan :: by maxppc :: ) now with COD4 section and COD4 server monitor.

We still have the dedicated COD2 server untill Feb08. Then we will switch over to COD4 full time:) Although our COD4 server is pretty much running great 24/7 we are still dividing between the two. We are working until then to get our COD4 game modifications , stats etc working properly.

I use a silenced mp5 with last stand, it seems to work well for me at the moment, though i normally end up dropping the mp5 and picking up something else

Carentan is pretty good on COH if your into RTS.

now there is a strange place! Divided up into sectors or zones or summat, and its a **** hole!

The XBOX360 boys have a bit of a help when firing their weapons. The console has like a targetting mode that means you can't miss. Much harder, and therefore better players on the PC.

I'm currently rank 45 and no, I don't have a life. Favourite weapon combo is Carbine (Red Dot) and MP5 (Red Dot), with Bandolier, Overkill and Martydom.

1 question for you PC boys.

On the 360 after you have selected a gane type it just fires you into a lobby with other players.

Can you chose the map you want on the PC?

Kinda, in the XBOX, you just get put into any room with randoms, on PC, you can choose your room, which details which map is currently playing. While you cannot choose this directly, you merely select map column and it sorts the maps out for you in order.

We now at last have 2 dedicated EU servers up and running. Both running "hardcore" COD4, 1 is ranked , 1 is unranked.

Both are at maxppc.no-ip.org , one on port 28960 and one on 28961.
