thanks to the pair of you :) i will cross my fingers and get in touch with them to see if they can sort it out :)

did you notice if it had the one touch indicators?
sorry? what are one touch indicators?

One touch indicators: when you want to change lanes (motorway, etc) all you need to do is tap the indicator and it will flash 3 times, it saves on the considerable effort needed to turn the indicators off after changing lanes. Only the 2004 model year Fabias seem to have it.

I've just ordered my vRS in black should be here on saturday with any luck. Can the locking system be set to lock the doors once it's on the move say above 5mph? Like other VAG's do? Just out of interest

Cheers

Mike

I am considering moving from me Felicia to a Fabia vRS at around chirstmas time hopefully, but what is the real difference between Black and the Black Magic paint? if there really is any?

I've heard of this through other threads on here but mine doesn't do it. I'd be interested to know if it can be set up.

Yeah It can be done in mins. Just pop in to your dealer and ask them to do it,,??? Depending on how old it is???

yeah I think I've read it somewhere on here something about a VAG system being able to download all the codes or something........or maybe I was dreaming that.

It's only 3 weeks old so I assume it will be possible. I shall pop along later.

Black magic has gold fleck metallic in it. I don't think there is a straight black available.... (someone will correct me if so)

re: 5 mph door locking.

It can be done by anyone with a VAGCOM or your dealer in 2 minutes, plus change the lock sequence, beeping when you lock/unlock the doors and the alarm tone (Skoda std ones omly).

Black magic has a gold fleck in it - Christ I must clean the car!!!!!

Yep they basically plug their diagnostic computer into the car and can do everything through that :D

I got mine back in December, and it already had this feature enabled. Auto-locks at around 10KPH (so it says in the manual, if memory serves)... :D
