Step 5: Petition close

When a serious petition closes, usually provided there are 200 signatures or more, officials at Downing Street will ensure you get a response to the issues you raise. Depending on the nature of the petition, this may be from the Prime Minister, or he may ask one of his Ministers or officials to respond.

We will email the petition organiser and everyone who has signed the petition via this website giving details of the Government’s response.

Bold added. Have to wonder what they'll consider a "serious" petition. And can the Government really be held accountable if they dismiss this petition, then later introduce plans to ban old cars in major Cities?!

There's a law here in Bosnia which makes it illegal to import cars older than 10 years old, meaning a complete absence of classic car enthusiasts.

Brilliant idea, ban cars over 10 yrs completely, just think you would be able to pick up a 9 yrs and 11 month old Ferrari F355 for about 2 shillings and 6D and run it for a month:D:D:D
