First tankful

Featured Replies

Two weeks, 530 miles. First impression was how light it was; I chose the light beige upholstery, and the morning of collection was bright and sunny. Light flooded through the sunroof. The gearshift freed up in the first few dozen miles. Handling is surprisingly good, and the swivelling headlights, which I thought would be a bit of a gimmick, are very effective. As far as the horn's concerned, the less said the better. I bought the Stebel mini-air horn which fitted easily, so we no longer sound like my wife's mobility scooter.

Consumption over the first 530 miles was either 47.5 or 51 mpg, depending on whether you take my calculation or MaxiDot's. I shall wait until there's about 1000 on the odometer before I do a more accurate check.

Overall I'm quite pleased with it. My principal reason for choosing it was the ease of access to the front passenger seat. My wife is disabled, and we tried 11 different cars in my size and price range before finding one she could negotiate with minimal pain.

Glad you are enjoying your car.
