Roomster Scout rival?

Featured Replies

Renault now offer a butched up faux 4x4 version of their Scenic, called the conquest. Loads of pictures at the bottom of this article: Renault Scénic Cross 1.9 dCi – Rodinný outdoor | AUTO.CZ

Doesn't look nearly as good as the Scout inside or out IMO, don't know the exact specs, but basic list price £17,945 for the 2.0 litre petrol, or £19,135 for the 1.9 diesel

Now tell me Skodas aren't good value anymore!

erm that'll be an Octy Scout competitor at that price point... not a Roomster.

Exactly! But the Renault is 2wd and similar size to the Roomster. Looks at least £3k overpriced to me.

True

hey, but its got a 130hp 1.9... But would way rather Skoda after my last Megane.

Renaults and ther french cars are either dated looking or way out there.

The scenic is outdated. They've also done the off road thing before - and it flopped then!

buy a roo and then chip it up to 130bhp and then go on hols with the change that you would have spent on the renault!! ;)

The Renault doesn't look half as nice as the Roomster scout does. I know which one I would go for.

The last soft road Scenic (RX4) they did was crap and they sold 17 of them.

you all forget, this will be discounted massivly bringing it into roomster pricing, looks better too, imho:D

nothing new about it tho they have been doing them for years

They will not knock £4k off them.

You forget you get discount on the Scout, far better depreciation and it has the added bonus of not falling apart every 20 minuites.
