Air Flow Flap Positioning Motor (V71) Supplier, removing and installing?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Need to replace 2 Air Flow Flap Positioning Motor (V71). Is Skoda the best bet for supplier or does elsewhere do it? It's a common fail with many posts but can find few on the net covering replacement, less so for Octavia.

If anyone has a guide/pictures or a good tip for supplier, please shout up.

Cheers, Greg

Supplier would be a Skoda dealer. Assuming it's a RHD I think it's 1J2 907 511 A.

If you were to post this question in the Ask a Tech forum I'm pretty sure you'd get the answer you need. I can tell you it's not as simple as swapping the motor over, you need to perform some other operations ;)

Hey Stu, thanks for that - I may well do so. First off I have found it's a valeo part so I'm going to go through my local Valeo distributor as they should be able to get it in, thus avoiding Skoda in the un-necessary supply chain. If it works out any cheaper/better I'll let the forum know as I'm pretty sure every 3rd Octavia needs one...

I think it might be worth calling skoda, I don't think they are as expensive as you may think.
