Does the Octavia run ok with 18" wheels??????

Just wondering as i dont want to waste the money if it drive rubbish with them;)

I am looking at the Seat Leon Cupra R wheels......

should do, aslong as you get the proper sized tyres

18's are fine. mine are on 225/40/r18 tyres and fit fine

the drive is fine too. youl feel the road a bit more, because of the lower profile tyres, but its all good.

How does it drive with the 18's on compaired to the 17's????

Ie tramlining ect

ive had no probs yet. only thing for me is i was stupid enough to go for 'budget high performance' tyres......not so good in the wet. go for toyo's if you get 18's. ill be changing mine soon to toyo's

18's are fantastic so long as you get good tyres. i have suffered the smallest amount of tram-lining but think it would have been the same with 17's. I also have 225/40/18 and i think the bigger wheels make the car look that little more special.

Its not a complete reply to the question but in a way its relevent. I bought this set of alloys many years ago now they cost £950 from the dealer and i was over the moon, however having got home my sister was there and when she heard how much i paid she replied"does it go any faster",.

I would of thought they would fit no problem at all

I didn't realise they came in different colours, I like the dark grey ones. Would look great on your yellow or my silver car. I've jsut had a look on Cupra net. and there are a coupe of sets for sale.
