sorry, for the Fabia vRS... sorry if my questions have obvious answers... still getting used to this place :s :)

cheers for the advice Chris :)

No problem - looking more closely at the pic in the brochure, I wonder if it's not a vRS one as it looks very similar to mine. I'm sure someone with one will be able to clarify for you :D

Chris

It's similar enough as the only diiference is the speedo numbers and the silver surround. It still lights green though

And look at the clock, only five mins ago :)

Got to say I think your furby looks amazing, took a peek at your pics the other night and also caught a couple from brunters gallery elsewhere on briskoda -- really nice, just wish I was able to replace mine -- wouldn't mind either Octy or Furby.

Just managed to get rid of the 1.0 Yaris - with a 2.5V6 Gsi Vectra, would much have prefered a Skoda, but beggars can't be choosers :(

Cheers Dave :)

I used to work at MSD in Milton Keynes btw, main job was doing the GSi conversion for Vauxhall.

Ah! so now I know where to come with any queries -- anything I should look for, car appears straight and makes a luurverrly V6 growl but I know didly sqwat about them

PM Sent to Dave so not to taint the thread with Vauxhall gubbins ;)

Exactly..now I seem to recall a certain silver Fabia having a slight bump...er wonder if a 2.5V6 would fit in a Fabia engine bay........

....... goes off to dream of a Fabia vRS V6

would've been a more interesting picture if the speedo was reading 100mph tho ;) fancy taking the picture again? :D

Quite difficult in the garage (only place where it was dark at 7.30 pm) ;)

Well' date=' if you can do this putting one into a Furby should be a doddle.

tooks some find that did.

I first saw it a couple of years ago when searching for Estelle tuning bits.

Ooh now theres a thought -- R32 V6 into a fab ?

4.2 Litre Twin-Turbo V8 (ex very written off RS6) into a Octavia ?

Theres bound to be someone somewhere thinking along these lines.

We just found out today the above mentioned RS6 was written off - but only cos the customer didnt want the car re-shelling - opted for a lower payout than car's value to avoid having the car back! -- the shell alone is over
