smooth tail gate

I really don't like it personally - but it's whatever floats your boat.

It's quite kind of your mate to make the offer, but if you dont like it, what would it cost to return to standard?

Never seen the point in filling in the place where the number pate should go and then hanging it off the rear bumper so it looks completely out of place.

Me neither. I don't like it, and it's more a trick for the 10 year-old corsa brigade, surely?

If you did do it (after all, it's your car, not mine) don't forget you'd need a number plate lamp.

Looks ****lng ****e.

Don't sit on the fence. Say what you think .

smoothed cars are ace but only make sense at shows with no plates at all on,can't believe some of the negative comments on this, you would be banned from some vag sites for comments like these:rofl:

the vag scene invented this style, and i for one am a fan:thumbup:

if you like it leon go for it seeing as its your car :)

tbh i wouldn't be able to make my mind up until seeing one in the flesh as you could never quite tell in pictures.

Very true, think having to see it in the flesh would do it justice.

Bengie, ill have to see what i get in my januarys student loan but, now that im working too i might have some cash to play with.:)

just do what you like, sod everyone else:thumbup:

For the car to really pull it off it would be better to slam it, nice wheels and do some color coding/smoothing to the rest of the car

If you like it - go for it. And do post some pics.

If you're not sure - try to look at some examples in the metal.

deffo and then put propper deep split rims with stretched rubber on to really set it off:D

To be perfectly honest, i think it looks awful.

as has been stated, you go to the hassle of having the work done then you have nowhere to put your number plate (and number plate lights) without it looking out of place.

each to their own and would be interested in seeing exactly how it looks when finished.

I agree with the majority, it will look chavtastic

Plus ive never seen one done good.

even ones that have been to reputible bodyshops arnt brill.

And if he's still at college i would definatly say no.

It takes years of practice to get filler work mint on such a large area.

The colour of your car is on your side though, and at the end of the day its your money.

you go to any of the shows this year? judging by this post i would say not,the quality of this sort of work was awesome, agreed if you can't get it done by someone with a good rep, don't get it done:D

When show cars are done they weld in a sheet to cover the tailgate corner to corner not just the number plate recess.

This is a college boy, it aint gonna be no show car job.

(no offence intended)
