Car Wax

Featured Replies

I was speaking to a mate who works for ford and he said that they now offer a wax protection that costs about £300 that lasts for at least 3 years?

Anyone heard of this? thats alot of car washes £300 :D

Sounds a load of ********.

Sounds something like Supaguard - many dealers offer it.

There are a few on here who have paid for it and like the results - and many others who would buy the kit off Ebay for £30 and apply it themselves!

Or just give your car a bit of TLC and do it yourself using the two-bucket method. Car washes really aren't a good idea.

No 'wax' will ever last 3 years, its blatently a con. You could buy a whole host of good kit for half of that price.

yeh i thought it might be some sort of guard you can get and i did think........hmmmm too good to be true!

I'd be interested to find out more though and see if they guarantee it, then if it is a con, get someone to tlc my car for free haha.

I give my car the TLC it deserves :-)

gotta look at the options!

Superguard

its all the same stuff which as mentioned can be bought for pennies from ebay.

the key with all these things in good preparation otherwise they will all look crap

SWMBO had the Diamondbrite stuff on her new car and it was crap TBH.

A good washing and waxing regime is the way forward.

Were they on a tea break for most of that?

Think about it, 2men x 8hrs + the product + the consumables’ + the workshop + the rates/electric/water costs + advertising.

Best we all do what we all do best mate.

Don't do tea breaks in our part of the world, we just get the job done properly then **** of home.

briskoda valeting services ;)

At a very reasonable price?

So it took 2 men, 8 hours to apply 2 products to a car?

Are they paraplegic midgets who apply it with their noses?
