Having done 100 miles today ive noticed the biting point has gone from right near the carpet to higher than before when the orginal was in. is this normal:confused:

i wouldn't worry to much about the biting point, as long as its not right at the top , it should be ok and may get a little lower when its bedded in

Just been out again in it, the temption to boot it is too much.

I know i shouldnt but i cant resist, driving a 3.0td 2 ton tank around for past two weeks has really made me miss my vrs.

Half way through doing it i thought "what the **** am i doing!" i am up to my eyes in clutch dust, with a gearbox balancing above my head. i must be mad!

But now i see it was all worth it :thumbup: Its better than............. :rofl:

you up for a diy spec clutch and lsd fitting sesh then?

Yup all done :thumbup: Get the cupra bushes on yours mate......... BIG difference ;)

The front end is now as solid as a rock, these no wobble at all :thumbup: Ive got cupra rear console bushes, powerflex arb bushes and powerflex front TCA bushes.

Just waiting for the discs then the brakes will be on :thumbup:

Your coilovers are in stock at KW, give me a shout when you need them and ill get them sent over ;)

did some one just mention coliovers?................... ill be getting a cupra in jan/feb and i want coilovers on that. Are the fabias the same as the ibiza?

First few times i used mine, well infact the first time i engaged the clutch i stalled it lol, the biting point was so low. It will get better, and slightly higher than the first few times its operated. I had mine done when i had only just had a allard vt2 stuck on mine, and having to drive that around all limp wristed was a real biatch lol. Although within 10 mins of it being in i was doing 145 near jbs :lol:, took ages to change gear mind, but just took my time :D

The week after and about 450 miles on it i had taken it to santa pod and did a 14.6 with it :D
