with a hundred quid you should be able to buy 4 nangkang tyres , these are made under licence from toyo. ive used them a couple of times and had no problems. Or a pair of Khumos and have enough left to get p1ssed

I got michelin energy e3b's on my standard fav alloys a while ago. They're definitely better than the originals but they're my first set of new tyres. However, one started leaking at the rim and I think I have another going the same way. The repairer said it was due to corrosion on the rim, is common with Skoda alloys and tends to happen with new tyres, and that the old ones tend to settle into the rim. Not sure if that's true or not. If another one keeps loosing pressure I will probably replace it for one of my spares and save the £15 puncture repair cost and put it towards an alloy refurb fund, which should hopefully sort out leaking at the rim problems anyway.

Despite anything you might be told to the contrary, there is no reason to not fit inner tubes on "tubeless tyres".

what size tyres are you going to put on? if you are sticking to standard 165/70s , and the car has standard suspension you mite as well stick to a pair off cheapies. the fav i had only handled better when i went wider and lower
