well can anyone tell me how long i will wait for my delivery of my new Octy Vrs 170, i know good things come to those who wait, and how long is a piece of string, but im wearing out my brocure dreaming.

It is a uk southcoast dealer and a factory order due to added toys and was ordered 4 weeeks ago.

Can anyone give me some times that they have experieced and do they shut down in CR for 4 weeks for X mas:thumbdwn:.

Just picked up my vRS

Deposit paid 22/9/07, Built 31/10, Dealers 27/11, Collected 30/11.

If you have ordered the Light Assist, Rain Sensor and Auto dimming mirror pack, I urge you to double and treble check that Light Assist is CLEARLY written on the order - mine was missing and though it can be retro fitted (phew!) it caused me to have kittens in the dealers!!!

Wonderful car though - you're gonna love it!

then prepare to part with loads of cash on here for engine mods, chips, rolling roads, mfd's, bt kits etc etc

Another 8-10 weeks i reckon. Maybe more if you include an Xmas shutdown period.

It normally takes about 10 weeks form order to delivery (5 weeks to be built), but can be quicker or slower! The factory shuts for the last week of the year, but if your cars built by then, as it probably will be, then it shouldn't be affected.

just added last toy to order, hopefully it will be included, might be some thing to do with weather but rain sensor and light assist seemed a good idea today, god im having a mid life crisis i think:rolleyes: only thing missing is the glass now, but that is it.

If the car is going to be a while yet i might as well anoy the sales people by giving in to my patience and adding to my order for the third time:O i am sure the wait will be worth it:).

I ordered my new 170 vrs octy estate ready for pick up 28th Dec, tradeing in my old 170vrs octy hatch. Think it was 8 weeks waiting but well worth it.

Our vRS took 12 weeks from deposit to collection, it had quite a few bits added which meant a longer build time.

Mine took 12 weeks too. With only one optional extra...

I ordered my Octy in October and got it in February! Christmas shut down slowed the whole thing a bit as did my slight odd spec.

Mine was ordered at the start of October, delivery is Friday 7th (company car, car is at the dealer being PDI'd, delivery Friday to coincide with my Rover 75 lease expiring.
