Min length 4m, but if you have something you want to use that's just a shade too short, you just need to make some with bigger bumpers, like the Pug 206 WRCs.

and the Fabia vRS............................

I wonder how many more titles Seb will win, and whether anyone else will be able to win the WRC while Seb is still competing...:)

Me too but when I was at WRC Ireland in the accompanying programme they had specs of all the WRC cars. I'll dig them out when I get home....

Perhaps it's BHP they can produce unrestricted although desrestricted ones run in rallycross with stupidly high BHP.

Citroen C4 WRC

Engine: XU7JP4, 1998 cc unit, four-cylinder in-line, transversely mounted, twin-cam, 16-valve, Magneti-Marelli Type 2KR multi-point injection, Garrett turbocharger

Power: 315bhp @ 5,500 rpm and 580 Nm torque @ 2,750 rpm

Weight: 1230 kg

Subaru Impreza WRC 2007

Engine: Flat four-cylinder, 1994cc, 16-valve, quad-cam, STi sequential injection with IHI turbocharger and 34mm restrictor. Subaru programmed electronic engine management system. Denso spark plugs.

Power: 300bhp @ 5,500 rpm and 600 Nm torque @ 4,000 rpm

Weight: 1230kg

Surely thats way unfair?

You could equally argue that it's unfair that the Subaru has a lower front centre of mass than anything else (for the same ground clearence).

C4 spec doesn't mention a restrictor so that could be the un-restricted figures.

Or Citroen could be quoting an actual figure, and Subaru an "official" one.

Like happened with the UK spec Toyota Supra 4 having 320bhp, and being unable to outrun a Skyline R33GTR with 286bhp on a mile drag.

I didn't mean to imply, much less say, that there was a power limit for a WRC, other than the restrictor plate.

I'm pretty sure I remember talk about there being an unofficial nominal limit of "around 300bhp" though, and that's where I got the comment about Subaru having an "official 300 bhp" from.
