Information on the Roomster/Fabia 5J is a little scarce at the moment but it will come in time.

I've just worked out that you can find things that can be changed by viewing the Vag-Com label files.

I just turned lock/unlock Beep On. Not sure if I like it beeping all the time now or not. I'll give it a couple of weeks to decide, I can always turn it off again.

One thing I did notice with Vag-com is when I initially went Open Controller -> Central Convience (46) -> Adaption (10) the program kept crashing as soon as I went to read a channel. Even clicking the down arrow by the channel number caused the laptop to crash out saying "process has already terminated".

I then did a full scan of my 5J roomster fine, after a full scan the same Adaption procedure that caused crashing initially then worked fine.

Is that crashing a feature of running Vag-Com on my Windows 2000 laptop or just a personal funny ? It don't worry me too much if doing a full scan works around the problem. I'm running Vag-Com 711 by the way.
