Golf - Hole in one?

Featured Replies

Having once done 3/4 of a 35 mile commute on a space saver and then had to get a new tyre at 6pm, I like having a full size spare too. With the Fabia vRS, you often have to order a new tyre in, so a space saver spare would really be a problem.

I won't have anything other than a full size spare - as long as that option is available to me. Not at all happy about the march of the space-saver.

Abroad. 5 hour drive to the once a day ferry home. Puncture.

It took an hour to empty a jam-packed boot, change the wheel, re-pack, all in ****ing rain. We were a bit late to start with, so all our recovery time was gone, and then some. To be limited to 50ish with a space-saver would have knackered us completely.

Full size spare only for me. Preferably a matching alloy, but a steelie will do.

the old seat ibiza i had (nearly 10 years ago) had a space saver spare.... under the bonnet.....
