Superb's at Skoda Liverpool and my new Superb order confirmed

Featured Replies

went to see if there were any Superb Comforts at Liverpool when I was up there last week, and they had several Superbs for sale on the forecourt (which is not normal). They are all 53 reg with less than 10 miles on the clock - they all seem to be classic's, mostly 2.0's, but a couple of PD 100's. They were all

If I'd known it was a factory order, I'd have added heated seats too :( Ah well.
Might be worth ringing the dealer to request them - the plant might not have built your car yet...

PD 100 is too small a lump for the Superb.

But a very good excuse for a visit to Jabba

Even then, its only a little ahead of the standard pd130....so not really worth it. ;)

probably all ex-rental cars!!!

i know Europcar had alot of Superbs(obviously due to being owned by VAG Group),all 2 litre comforts and TDi's.

driven alot of them i have to admit, all very good motors, having been thrashed from cold day!!!!

Wouldn't the order run to the outsatnding 2.5 V6 TDI

:cool::cool::cool::cool::cool::cool:

They're not ex-rentals as they all have less than 10 miles on the clock!

Bit worrying the fact that the only 2 Superbs I've seen in the last 2 weeks have been taxis  :( On the other hand, that shows the drivers have confidence in the car's abilities to do astronomical miles :D Saw a "primer" grey Superb taxi last night with the 17 inch Solid alloys - I thought it looked very swish :D

I've not even driven a PD130 Superb before and I'm thinking whether or not I'll get away with a Jabba upgrade or not :D

The pd130 is quick m8, and cruises oh so nice on the motorway.

Needs a remap though :D

Must admit I'm looking forward to all that torque!

What extra power can you get on a remap? Are there any warranty friendly remaps available? :) I'll probably be happy with it as standard. After all I've been happy enough with my 115BHP Passat for 3 years. Problem I've got with the PD130 is that I test drove a PD130 Passat at the time I had a 220BHP 246 lbft torque Saab, and unfairly compared the two. Having said that - the Saab did 26mpg - I'd expect a tad more out of this Superb PD130! ;):D

Long distance I get about 47mpg, even working around town rarely drops below 40, these figures are without trying, if you put your mind to it you can get 55 an A road run at about 60mph.

Cruises brilliantly, will go up to ridiculous speeds (allegedly).

Let us know what you think of yours when you get it.

I'll get some piccies taken too :D Peeps at work think I'm mad, but I bet they won't when they see the car!

The people at work thing is really strange. Whenever you're physically away from the car the jokes and jibes come thick and fast( yes, still "why do Skodas have heated rear windows?" stuff), but if you are near or in the car it's all praise and dumb silence. It really is quite enjoyable!

I think its JEALOUSY. ;)

I love it :D

I saw a Superb Elegence PD130 at auction a couple of weeks ago (I move cars as cash in hand work :D ) it went for about 8K because it was white and had 80K miles put on it in 2 years now that is a bargain

My first post here! Like the idea of moving cars around for a fee. How did you come by that number? Only interested in augmenting my wallet, you understand? :)

Friend of a friendof a friend of a guy who I know from the pub its not much cash but you get to drive some interesting cars.
