Interesting in what the comparison is like between the Petrol & Diesel during a race.....I haven't a feckin clue what they are saying either

red was petrol, yellow diesel, they were testing which is better -

they raced 0-100km, petrol wins

then I think 80Km - max, again petrol wins

then they measured level of sound in different speeds, accelerating from 80km in 4th and 130km in 6th

sound levels about the same but they thought subjectively it felt that diesel is louder...

then they tried how it sits on the road .... I doubt the chap in yellow knows how to drive it :o), he claims that diesel is 30kg (60 lb) heavier and that extra weight is all in the front, hence bad behaviour in bends...

So it's as we already knew really then.....

Petrol is best!!! :P

:sofahide:

Looking at a few of the other vids on there -

This Integra one was quite good - Video [Run] Octavia 2 RS TFSI / Intégra Type R - Skoda, Octavia, VAG, TFSI, R - Dailymotion Share Your Videos

Look what else turned up - Video [Rassemblement Briskoda] Blessington, Skoda RS - Skoda, RS, vRS, VAG, Octavia - Dailymotion Share Your Videos

Interesting the first one how the Integra how a slight edge and then the VRs pulled away...

TBH the guy in the yellow car was "giving it beans" one handed and the start was shocking.

Either way.
