Sat late afternoon elbow grease..

Featured Replies

Well, around a couple of hours this afternoon and the Fabia is back to shiny from the muddy, M25 rain/spray & bird poo condition. I was quite impressed with myself, so thought I'd share it with you all.

Of course, that'll now bring the rain for the rest of the Bank Holiday, sorry!

I used the Simoniz Teflon car shampoo and Teflon polish (same brand as the seat protector) which is being sold off for 2.50 for the shampoo and 6.00 for the polish at B&Q, but the checkout lad thought it was all the same and just rang through 4 x shampoos. :)

The polish doesn't mark the plastic trim unlike others which is a plus for me (always manage to get it everywhere!).

Bit of a squirt of MC2 on the wheels, washed off with Teflon shampoo & sponge and then Mer 'Wicked Wheel Wax' (got as a freebie a few months ago but actually is quite good IMHO).

Only one more stone chip on bonnet from last clean a few weeks ago (so four in total now, four others on bumper). Oh well.

Oil needed topping up, half a bottle of SLXII (this is at ~3.5k miles) to go from just below bottom of dipstick level to top.

Looking good!

Very nice work m8. Will get round to doing mine on Monday, if the said rain stays away

Ahh beauty, dont the black ones just shine.

Mine getting a bath tomorrow :)

 Looking good! I wish I could be bothered to clean my car :(

Mine did get a bath, but after a drive up to Leicester its now covered in bug splats.
