A while back i posted an article on cleaning the mass air flow sensor ( on vortex) anyone actually tried it yet.

Only ask as Im sure mine is dirty/contaminated and i should really clean it!

Or buy a new one, anyone an idea of the part number and how much?

I know i could look myself but its cold out there and rather get some lunch at lunchtime....oh well wait for the weekend

Read on Audi-sport.net that you can get isopropanol from the chemist. I get mine from my eldest son who is a fibre optic engineer. He uses it where cleanliness is essential and traces of residue are a no no.
