Does anybody have any info on the fabia facelift?

Featured Replies

Does anybody have any info on the fabia facelift due latter this year?

All my dealer has said is that the 5th 3 point seatbelt will be standard! but he was told that the 5th headrest would be an option!!

I,m asking as I,m holding off ordering my second furby vrs until after I know the extent of the upgrade, I'm praying for climate control to be an option ,as it is on both the polo and ibiza.

Stokey

I too would be interested if anybody has any info.

I would like to see colour coded side strips and possibly some different alloys, but who knows what those Skoda people are upto!

The 5th 3-point belt is not a change in spec it's atually a legal requirement from our friends in Brussels who have outlawed lap belts in new cars. I haven't heard anything about a Fabia Facelift except from magazines who have been writing about it and not actually saying anything about it!

I was lead to beleive that a facelift was coming out and 3 touch indicator things were on it

Already fitted to 04 vRS.

The three point belt and middle headrest are already available as options. I've read the facelift will be a low-key affair. I suspect it will be limted to re-designed bumpers and possibly headlights. I doubt whether the vRS will be touched as it's been launched so recently.

Look what happened to the MG ZT 260. 3 months after its launch, MG launch a facelift model, seriously damaging residuals for pre-facelift models. VAG aren't run that badly, but I wouldn't be surprised to see some modifications...

Yes, I have some info coming from the well-informed German AutoBild site:

- facelift coming in '05

- new model Fabia Van coming mid '06

- new model Fabia Hatch coming late '06

- new model Fabia Estate coming late '07

The Fabia Van will be heavily inspired by the Roomster and will look a bit like this:

It will also get a 5-door version which will look something like this:

Yuck - looks like an A-class :thumbdwn:

One of the reasons I shied away from the Fabia vRS (apart from the size) was the lack of Climate Control. I no longer consider it to be a luxury! Now more than happy with my Octavia 130

To answer my own question just found out facelift likely to hit the roads in october, changes include grill and bumpers externally, inside there is a new dash. the reason for the dash is to prevent rattles but the styling has been changed slightly at the same time, I've not seen it but my dealer has changes minimal, same heater controls etc. no climate control option for the facelift, but leather is being talked aout, not finalised yet and more likely in elegance than Vrs.

I want a 3 door, 1.8t 225bhp cruise, climate, xenons, and decent handling :D i really like the look of the current car.. so just remove a couple of doors

mmmmmm cruise control (cant wait till sunday) :D

im *hopefully* getting Kruise Kontrol fitted

Cruise Control *IS* fabulous...any future car I get will also have cruise...
