comments ---

Try and go for the dual zone climatronic pack with the jumbo box armrest and the 18" wheels.

Also try and get the MaxiDot display if possible as it enhances the look and functionality of the car.

Option 1 or 3 would be my choice.

thanks,

can't see any details on maxidot i will need to ask as i gather it's essential.

Not essential as such but it's an extremely popular option.

Try doing a forum search for 'Maxidot' and you should get some pictures.

The standard trip computer is a half height LCD display in between the rev counter and speedo but the maxidot is a full height dot matrix display with the top portion capable of displaying red and amber colours for warnings etc. It also adds an options menu to alter certain door lock/ mirror control settings amongst other things. These would be otherwise inaccessible without dealer help.

Try and go for them in order of importance as shown below.

1) 18" alloys/dual zone climate/jumbo box pack

2) Maxidot

3) Parking sensors

Obviously this is only my opinion as it's your car and your money at the end of the day :)

When I was looking to buy mine I was after the 18'' wheels, Race Blue paint and the dual zone climate. As a bonus mine was a demonstrator and had cruise and rear parking sensors on it.

I wouldn't be too bothered about the colour unless you have a favorite, but I would have the dual zone and jumbo box and wheels over everything. Cruise control is handy though.

Option 3 could be my favorite. I'm personnally not bothered about a sun roof, but the maxidot is useful.

Remember it's your money, and haggle the price down a bit anyway, or get something else thrown in, mud flaps etc.

Mitchells Skoda have a couple of pre-reg 57 plate octy VRS for sale , £15800 i think , deffo less than £16k

Option 3, good accessories, low mileage, nice colour.

:+1: What he said. Seems to have the best balance of price, age, miles, toys etc

edit: can't forget the toys!

Another one for number three.

It may not have the 18" wheels but these are easy to swap at a later date , compared to things like the climate control which is almost impossible to retro-fit

I'd be torn between option 1 & 3.

Personally i would prefer the Blue colour over silver, as it's a cracking colour. :)

thanks for your comments guy's - Ive know put a deposit down which i think fits the bill(none of the above!).

Blue, Apr 2006, 6,500mls, climate pack, xenon lights, 18" alloys - £13,300 agreed! Driving down to chester on thursday to get it!

thanks again.

Exellent choice, you won't regret opting for the xenons as they are near impossible to retro fit along with the dual zone climate. Maxidot is much easier to fit further down the road.

One question: Petrol or Diesel??

cheers - it's petrol thanks

it doens't have maxidot but it has everything else I wanted so can't complain.

I'm driving down 200mls to get it on thursday - only problem now is finding my V5 for my trade in - looks like its lost!!! ahhh!!!
