Octavia vRS modifications

Featured Replies

To give me a better idea of what future modifications I should go for I thought it would be a good idea to post a thread asking what people have done to their vRS to improve overall performance/handling, and whether it was worth the money getting it done. My vRS has already had the Revo Remap and my SPS 3 should be arriving soon, other than that my car is totally standard!

If you've had loads done just post your top 3 :)

Hello mate, loads of threads about this, try doing a search.

I would recommend rear arb, sorts the body roll out and less understeer. Also dog bone mount is worth doing too but you may find it to harsh.

Rear ARB

Coilovers or Koni FSD's with the standard springs

Ferodo DS2500 front pads

Also a good set of tyres if you dont them already will improve the handling of the car

Brakes

Tyres

Remap

Then just empty your wallet after that :D

Here's what I've done to mine:

Pimp My Skoda!

The next thing you should be doing is your brakes, followed by suspension. Then you can really think of getting an induction kit, FMIC, Turbo back exhaust..... From there it gets kinda expensive....Bigger Turbos etc.

ive done Remap and Sport Contact 2's. remap has made biggest difference, id like a rear ARB but short on cash so Brake Pads are next on the hit list.

Thanks for everyones replies.

As i've already had REVO remap (Got SPS 3 now), and i've just had Bridgestone Potenza's put on all round. I think I will look at improving the handling before getting CAI fitted.

Gary.
