Bloody hell!!! Thats fair old journey... plus the return and the miles we do down there... i reckon £25 in fuel should just about do it for me! hehe

Probably worth noting that there aren't many fuel stops on the route as the Peak District doesn't have a great number really, so it'd be wise to fill up as you approach the area, otherwise we may have issues trying to find a fuel stop on the drive out! (which has happened in the past).

It's happened many times. It makes me chuckle to see the looks on peoples faces as Skoda after Skoda goes by lol

What about the convoy/cruise out of Doksy, there was well over 200 but the locals were used to seeing Skoda's :P but it was still an awesome sight

Me (in my Red Octy vRS estate) leading a convoy of 5 yellow vRS Furbys at the first Burrs B-B-Q meet got quite a few interesting looks!

I was too preoccupied with having the lovely Sarah as a ( poor ) navigator to notice....

I haven't cleaned the seat since.

( yes I have, did I really post that???)

I haven't cleaned the seat since.

It was your old car anyway at the first burrs meet, so whoever twocked it will have the seat lol

206.7 miles for me .

Of course it was, my memory is terrible.:o

I now have wipe clean leather......

I now have wipe clean leather underwear......

How far is everyone travelling btw?

Its 82 miles from my door to the cat & fiddle.

130 miles for me... (one way!) but well worth it I think!

This post seemed to vanish when I tried last night, so although I've put it in the original thread post, here it is again just so people see it:

For those coming from the flatlands, obvious as this might sound :o, but you will get through a lot more fuel on the roads around the C&F!

Cheers. :)

I better stick £30 quid in then just in case

I'll have to set off early to get their for 11am.

7.17 miles from door to door.

Don't worry about it, I'm sure if Boswall's diesel felly could manage it yours can!

Hehehe. Good times!

philje123 - I wouldnt worry about keeping up with the rest of the pack. They were all very nice and didnt go too fast. I thought I was going to die a couple of times and only kept up because I knew most of the roads.

One thing I will warn you about is please remember that this lot all have ABS and you probably dont. I was nearly wearing tigger's Furby for a hat when he suddenly braked.

Much as I'd love to come again - My grandpa has taken my Felly down to Gloustershire and I don't think he'll be into coming up for me to drive round some hills.

I could see if my dad wants to go in his Octy2 4x4 - but I dont think thats his thing

Otherwise I could come in a beat up old land rover discovery. (really couldnt keep up in that)

Have fun

Bos

"Borrow" your Dads octy, and leave him at home

*remembers "The only skoda in the village" photo.... lol...

Oooh but i do have ABS... was testing it the other day actually as i realised that i'd never felt it working before so on the quiet private road leading to my work i got up to 40 and pushed hard on the brakes.. sure enough i could feel and hear it clicking on and off and i stopped without a singled sound from the tyres!!!

Probably still feel like im gonna die at some point but its all good fun... ive got some new goodyears on and i know what my car can and can't do!!!

Put me down 1 dining
