Sorry to sound like a thicko but despite being a forum member for a little while can't work out how, when responding to a particular post, you get the original post your responding to quoted in a blue box at the start of your post. Never seems pc to ask in a specific thread, bit off topic, a sudden declaration of ignorance.

In the bottom R/H corner of each post is the "QUOTE" button. Click this and bingo - all done.

Hint - Press the blue box with a " symbol in it to multi-quote several messages

Or if you want to be geeky, you can just put

[ quote] and [ /quote] (without the space after the [ ) around the bit(s) of text you want to quote.
