Hooray!!!

Featured Replies

I shall be picking up my vrs on the 4th of January.

They gave me £800 trade in for my old golf (not bad for a 96plate car on 128000), and agreed to fit my elaborate tv/dvd/radio big screen thing.

It's very tidy and done 22,000.

All in all it actually cost me £8950, which I don't think is that bad considering Cornish prices etc.

Now, to start saving for that re-map....

congrats hope you love the car as much as i do

Congratulations on your purchase, I assume from your post you're in cornwall, so am i, just curious which dealer (if any) you ordered from. You may be well ahead of me here, but, my dealer had not long since power washed mine when i picked it up, took opportunity to check for door leaks, there was one and to be fair they sorted it following week. Those country lanes will certainly seem narrower when you get it! enjoy your car.

Congratulations, enjoy your car :)

I am indeed in Cornwall, but down the south end (near redruth). I've bought it from a place in St. Ives called usedkarsales (all one word, not sure why).

The nearest dealer to me is in Penryn, and they told me the chances of getting a low mileage vrs in Cornwall were very slim.

That'll be you wrong then Mr. Dealer!!!

Seconded

Nice lowish mileage too :)

Excellent stuff, enjoy it!

Congratulations, enjoy your new purchase.

Year (must be '07), colour, extras? Plans, apart from remap? Do we all get to test-drive it?

I work in redruth, got mine from Ron at penryn, happened to call about a red one which I was put off of because it had big alloy's fitted and looked like it had had a 'hard life'. He called back because they had one coming in on a 54 plate with 9000 on clock! (this was in october) needless to say i did the deal.

nice milage,enjoy:thumbup:

Year: 2005, colour: silver, extras: don't know but once I'd driven it I didn't really care.

Plans (in order): Transfer sub & amp from the golf, Eibach springs (25mm), full stainless exhaust, remap & pd160 intake (in one go from the remap chap).

Then cosmetic things such as different wheels, colour coding bump strips, etc.

Has anyone found a way of livening up the dashboard a bit??

Cheers!!

Enjoy your new car when you get it , sounds like you'll be busy once its sat on your drive!
