I guess Skoda's marketing team know what they're doing, but to me the Scout brand is almost entirely a cosmetic exercise, albeit an attractive one.

I'd prefer effort being put into improving the mainstream car eg by modernising and extending the engine range.

Fabia scout will be same as roomster scout I'd think, eg FWD not 4x4 plus plastic.

It is a shame there is no 4x4 Fabia Mk2, would make an excellent platform for high power

I think the Facelift models will be out in the March of 2010 and the vRS September 2010 and I'm willing to put £10 on that as a bet.

Just hope they listen to their customers and bring out a Diesel version too.

I reckon it'll be out in 2009, with 4WD, front and rear LSDs, and a 400bhp 2.2 20v 5cyl turbo....
